Laura was educated and started her illustration career in Sweden. As a free-lance illustrator she worked with a variety of clients in different fields in Stockholm. After a few years she packed her bags and moved to New York City where Laura quickly established herself doing illustrations for clients all over the world in a variety of areas ranging from fashion to finance. Her client list includes, The New Yorker magazine, Bergdorf Goodman, MoMa, The New York Times, Wallpaper magazine, Harpers Bazaar, Oprah magazine, The Washington Post, IKEA, Beijer Alma, Arla, Radio Shack, Vouge, Garnet Hill, The Brooklyn Museum, teNeues, Mohawk Papers and many more.

Laura entered a new phase in her career when her first children’s picture book was published. This was  followed by many more that have been translated and published all over the world. She has also enjoyed conceptualizing and designing games and products for children and adults for MoMA, Brooklyn Museum, Chronicle and more.
